On 2-6 of September 2020, as a part of the development of the Eurasian Academic Anti-Corruption Network, ACREC organized a 5-day training for trainers for the members of the Network.
The participants were representatives of the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (Georgia), Transparency International Armenia, Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia (Armenia), Think Tank Expert-Grup (Moldova), Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Central Asian Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering (Kyrgyz Republic). This training aimed to develop the professional and teaching skills of the Network members who are involved in teaching anti-corruption courses in their hubs.
For five days, participants had the opportunity to have lectures on such topics as:
– How to Study and Teach Anti-Corruption;
– Case Teaching and Case Study Writing for Anti-Corruption Courses;
– How to Effectively and Efficiently Teach Anti-corruption Courses Online.
The lectures at the training were held by:
- Max Bader, Professor at Leiden University, member of the ACREC Supervisory Board;
- Richard Messick, legal development and anti-corruption consultant, in particular on the asset recovery, a former associate of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations;
and - Inna Kubbe, PhD student at the School of Political Science, Government and International Relations at Tel Aviv University (Israel).
